Selecting a Jung Personality Test

If you are recruiting then you are probably looking for a new personality questionnaire.

There are several things you must look for when searching for a personality profiling system.

Is it a Jung Personality Test ? There are various profiling systems to be had. Several are based on the studies of C Jung. It is suggested you select a Jungian system.

The personality questionnaire needs to be fast. Long personality questionnaires are often boring to candidates. Check the questionnaire only takes between seven and nine minutes to finish.
Do not make the mistake of thinking longer questionnaires give better results. Short questionnaires tend to give the best results. It goes without saying that the questionnaire should be designed properly in the first place.

Overly simple A/B questionnaires are often too simple. Make sure that the questions are not completely blatant. If the questions look like something you should never agree with, or something everyone would agree to, then this is not a good questionnaire.

Will it work with smartphones As so many are using mobile devices, it is vital that the internet based personality test you select will work on smartphones. Hardly any personality profilers are smartphone friendly. www.peoplemaps.co.uk is.

If you are using the profiling system in your recruitment process then it is important it is smartphone friendly, as most people use their mobiles when applying for jobs. If any element of your hiring process is not smartphone friendly, then you may be excluding much of of the candidate base.

Many personality profiling systems were old paper based systems. Paper based questionnaires were not designed for the Internet. You must search for a profiler that was actually designed for the Internet from its inception.

Is it easy to use. All systems must be intuitive to use. If you have to attend a training course to use it, then it you may need to keep looking.

Are the reports written in plain English? reports should be easy to read and not be full of jargon. If they insist you to go on a training course , then it’s not a good system.
